As the UK’s largest and greenest rental equipment provider Sunbelt and onboard:earth united around a shared commitment to support the live events industry in driving carbon emissions down and positive climate action forward with a focus on tackling the industry’s greatest environmental impact: travel.
Sunbelt Rentals are serious about their commitment to lowering carbon emissions and have a target to lower these by at least 35% by 2030. In support of this strategy, they have recently had their Scope 1 & 2 emissions verified by the Carbon Trust against ISO14064-3.
Since the introduction of their green vehicle policy over 170 Sunbelt Rentals employees have switched to pure EV vehicles, and Sunbelt’s EV & Ultra Low Emission vehicle fleet continues to grow as they roll out EV charging points across their depot network.
Sunbelt also have an ambitious environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy to 2030; ‘Our Planet’, is a blueprint to achieve their own environmental targets and to help their clients meet individual sustainability goals
