  • The calculations we use account for CO2e throughout the production and distribution of fuels used by vehicles, scopes 1-3. The direct emissions (scope 1) from fuel combustion as well as the indirect emissions (scope 2 and 3) from electricity generation, the well-to-tank emissions (WTT) and transmission and distribution losses (T&D). These are based on DESNZ average emissions for fuels and UK Grid energy. We are unable to provide individual options for EV's charged on home or festival solar at this stage. The calculation for EV cars is based on the DESNZ passenger vehicle calculation:

    • UK electricity for EVs Scope 2
    • UK electricity T&D for EVs Scope 3
    • WTT- passenger vehs & travel- land Scope 3
