The Green Gathering is held the first weekend in August on a stunning wooded site near Chepstow, just over the border into Wales and 18 miles from Bristol.
This four day camping festival is based around low impact living with quirky music stages and intimate spoken word venues. The entire event is powered by sun, wind, people and passion. The Green Gathering won the UK Greener Festival Award in 2017 and 2019 and the International Greener Festival Award for Renewable Power in 2018.
A huge, fun-packed Kids’ Area nestles into trees and spills across the festival’s Village Green. People of all ages are welcomed by the Permaculture Community, Craft Island, Campaigns Field, Healing Circle and Sacred Activist Sanctuary, at the vegetarian foodstalls and across the festival site.
The Green Gathering festival is a non-profit event with funds raised going to education and sustainability projects via The Green Gathering charity.
