Chepstow Summer Sessions 2024, featured three concerts at Chepstow Racecourse hosted by Live Nation and Cuffe & Taylor, (25,000 capacity per night). The team collected pre-event customer data which showed that 30% of attendees were travelling from Newport and 5% from Cardiff. To facilitate low carbon audience transport, the event partnered with First Transport Event Solutions to run a bus service from Cardiff to Newport to Chepstow. Return tickets were priced at £10 and sold alongside event tickets. A comprehensive communications plan encouraged bus travel instead of driving and showtimes were adapted by 30mins to ensure the audience could travel by public transport.
